but also happy that you are a survivor of the very thing that took my husband in 2000 after a ruptured brain aneurysm (intracerbral Hemmatoma)at the age of 37 in Aug of 1975,. I was his caregiver
for 24 1/2 years. He was a Hemipalegic, total care. Brain damage, paralyzed on right side, blind in his left eye. Bill was a big 6'2" teddy bear and lived so much longer then they gave us hope for. They say it was because of the care I gave him but God gave me the strength to do so for all those years. I had three kids 8-10-13...figured I had no choice so turned my house into a hospital after all his medical insurance was depleted in 7 1/2 months so they kicked him out. I should have been a nurse, missed my calling but learned eveything I could to care for Bill and would never look back. I would do it again.
I am sooo happy for you and so hope you are well now. Know you said it almost took your life so the time must have been very traumatic for you and your family. \I am soooo happy you won and will be able to go to the Concert and to Meet Clay and Ruben will be the topping on the cake I am sure for you. I hope you have a wonderful time.
I would be so nervous I would worry about it the whole time so I did not enter the contest with my name for Reno or LA so I could just go and relax and have a good time...I am 71 now and thrilled that I am able to go to two shows with two friends. I have followed Clay since 2003. Followed him ever since. He was my new lease on life for I had become a Hermit so to speak for 24 1/2 years going only to Dr.'s and grocery shopping.. Bill passed away in 2000...was given my first computer, and then discovered Clay Aiken and the most wonderful people in the world , his fans. I have only been to 4 concerts so these will be 5and 6...I am so elated he is back and I get to see him..So looking forward to the TRIED AND TRUE TOUR after the first of the year. For now "Timless Tour" will be wonderful I
am sure...as will the PBS TV Show. What a Year, what a Man.
Hope I am not upsetting you in the least. I just wanted to say Congratulations on winning your M&G and on your LIFE to be able to enjoy Clay also. God Bless.
